The Cross and The Resurrection in me

Rom4 25 He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.

Ef 1:In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,

In order to get redemption we have to go to the Cross, and trough his blood we are forgiven.  I think most Christians understand this.  But it’s the resurrection I want to focus on.

Rom 811 If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

In order for us to experience the resurrecting power of God we have to accept the cross and accept His death. How can you be resurrected without dying first?

The reason why He died on the is to bore our sins (1): 1 Pet 2:24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree,
Then the second part, most stop here but :. 1Pet 2:24 b that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.

We must identify with Christ through the cross and count ourselves dead to everything in order that we might obtain His resurrecting power and His new life in us:

Gal2 20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

After we have received the FREE GIFT  of His resurrecting power then we are Justified.

Rom 5: 16 And the free gift is not like the result of that one man’s sin. For the judgment following one trespass brought condemnation, but the free gift following many trespasses brought justification. 17 For if, because of one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.
