How to identify false faith. Its actually easy. If its against the word of God its false faith. The true believers has this saying, “we don’t let ourselves be govern by our experience but rather by the Word of God.”
Now quite often our experience is not the same as what we believed God for, but if our experience differ from that of the Word of God, does that make the faith of God to no avail?
Does our failure to believe make the faith of God of no avail? [biblegateway passage=”Rom 3:3″ display=”Rom 3:3 Does their faithlessness nullify the faithfulness of God? By no means! Let God be true though every one were a liar..”]
True faith is to keep on believing even if our experiences differ. I think the most practical for everyone is this. We all have tried to stop sinning, and then we fail. Does our failure now constitute that we will always continue in sin?
Consider: 1 Jon 5:18 We know that everyone who has been born of God does not keep on sinning, but he who was born of God protects him, and the evil one does not touch him.
So if you do continue in sin, you just need more faith. Believe the Word of God above your experience.
